Biophilic Design: Connecting People with Nature through timber

Biophilic design is an approach to architecture and interior design that seeks to connect people with nature by incorporating natural elements and patterns into the built environment. The Xylotek team was tasked by Mamou-Mani Architects to create these remarkable biophilic design pair of 'Cabana' break-out pavilions that would offer a unique and inspiring space for employees to work and relax. Mamou-Mani were also inspired by the natural fibres of cactus, which informed the curvature of the ribs. Explore the full project here.
