Xylotek successfully delivered the detailed design, fabrication, and installation of the Landscape House extension in the UK. The project involved using cutting-edge technology and advanced materials to create a stunning and functional living space for the client.
MTC Planning and Design designed the Landscape House extension, and Xylotek was responsible for the project delivery. Our team worked closely with the architects to ensure the client's vision was brought to life while adhering to building codes and regulations.
One of the unique features of the project was the CNC-prefabricated freeform stressed-skin roof, which involved using computer-aided design and manufacturing to create a top that was not only visually striking but also structurally sound. Our team fabricated the roof offsite to ensure it was precise and could be easily installed on-site.
In addition to the roof, Xylotek was responsible for fabricating and installing the plywood curved walls and glazing. The walls were designed to complement the shape of the top and create a seamless transition between the indoor and outdoor spaces. The glazing was strategically placed to provide natural light and stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
The extension was installed with the utmost care and precision to ensure that everything was aligned correctly and securely fastened. The result was a stunning and functional living space that exceeded the client's expectations.
