We're delighted to hear that Kwaeε has won The Architect's Newspaper's 2023 Best of Design Awards in the 'Temporary Architecture' section. The 13m tall sculpture, by Adjaye Associates, was part of the Venice Architecture Biennale 2023. Xylotek carried out the technical design, geometric definition and the preassembly and erection in Venice.
The award judge commented: “This installation is one form that is doing a lot of things. It’s an occupiable sculpture so it’s active, engaged, and layered in its approach.”
